i agree that a pile of dishes is domestic enough. but for the
concept of this particular project, i am looking to pair up
two common tasks, tasks which are both domestic and about
maintenance, adjacent to one another. That it is dish washing
as opposed to making one's bed, is fairly arbitrary. i just
think that it could be quite beautiful to see a room full of
diptych photographs of two people washing their dishes.
