the power and tactics of the mass media, the slippage between
journalism and advertising become apparent in works incorporating
videotapes made from television...The lectern, bristling with microphones but no speaker, exemplifies this discontent while shrieking headlines of the
tabloid newspapers spread on the floor like a carpet reveal a space where
differences between news and sensationalism, politics and entertainment
